Why I left a management position to start JaOcCo
A busy daily life... but devoid of meaning
For years, I've worked in various security-related sectors, in a wide variety of positions. Some with significant responsibilities, others more technical, but all with their share of meetings, management, and sometimes difficult decisions.
Over time, this constant race took me away from what was essential: my freedom, my creativity, and above all, time with my children.
The breaking point
A burnout brought this pace to a sudden halt. A difficult ordeal, but also an opportunity: to ask myself the real question.
Did I want to keep running endlessly, or did I need to forge a new path?
Choosing freedom, despite the risks
I decided to change course. To leave behind a stable trajectory, to embark on an uncertain adventure, but one more aligned with who I am.
It's a risk, obviously. Leaving the security of a job to start a business is no easy task. But it's a conscious choice: to create something meaningful, to teach myself, and to share this experience with my children.
And now ?
This choice wasn't the easiest, but it was undoubtedly the right one. Today, I wake up with the desire to learn, to create, to bring an idea to life, despite all the risks that this entails.
The JaOcCo story is just beginning—and this blog is here to tell the story of every step, step by step.
